Colonel J. T. M. Hayhurst left for Wellington last evening v Mr John A. Taylor, of Wellington, is staying at Coker's Hotel. Mr William Neville, of London, is staying at the Clarendon Hotel. The Hon. T. Fergus, M.L.C., and the Hon. H. F. Wigram, M.L.C., left for Wellington last night.

Messrs F. W. Rutherford and F. E. Rutherford, of Auckland, are staying at the Clarendon Hotel. His Honour Mr Justice Sim will leave ►for the south by the first express tomorrow nfbrning. SeadGowing left for Wellington last evening to represent the Canterbury Automobile Association at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Automobile Association. Mr C. E. Matthews is-'acting as manager of the Christchurch branch of the Union Bank of Australia. Mr Ogilvie, thjg bank's manager at Hobart, who is to succeed Mr F. E. Bryant in charge of the Christchurch branch, will arrive in about a fortnight. Mr F. E. Bryant, who has been managing the Christchureh b'raneh of the Union Bank of Australia, left for Sydney by the MaLtai*-last evening, <he having been appointed manager of the bank's Sydney branch.
