(Received June 12, 8.30 a.m.) OTTAWA, June 11. , A sensation has been caused in militia circles by the retirement of Major Leonard, of London (Ontario), commander of a battery of field artillery. The Militia Minister issued a recent order prohibiting alcoholic "drinks at all militia camps during , training, and Major ; Leonard, allowed the regulations tc be broken. The Militia Minister promptly ordered his removal from his command, stating that discipline at all costs must be maintained.
