Canada, were offered large supplies of flour, bread, rice, and fruit, but all supplies were refused, unless the Hindus vrere given linen, ginger, milk, purified butter, ,50: live sheep and goats, 100 fowls, and 200 b{>xes of cigarettes.
The officers of the vessel declare that, the Hindus were eating secretly.
