BREACH OF PROMISE CLAIM.
"Times" and "Sydney Sun" Services. (Received June 9, 8 ,a.m.) NEW YORK, June 8. Signor Caruso, the eminent tenor, has paid £6OO in settlement of Miss Mildred Mefferth's claim for £20,000 for breach of promise. The suit was commenced in 1908, and «Caruso's letters, signed "Baby," have been given up.
