OBITUARY.
There died yesterday, at the age of 82}-, Thomas George Wright, a veteran printer and pressman. He was originally as a compositor in England, but afterwards he joined the navy, and saw service on the China Coast and in the Crimea. On leaving the navy he came to Christchurch, and was for some years employed as a compositor on the '' LytteltOn Times,'' the Dunedin '' Star,'' and the "Press." His wife died a year ago, and he; leaves a family of three daughters and a son.
