MOTOR CYCLING.
RELIABILITY TRIALS.
The North Canterbury Motor Cycle Club's side car reliability trial commenced this morning, 27 competitors starting. Each side car carried a passenger, who was also observer, and the first of the machines left the garage at 8 o'clock and the others left the garage at two-minute intervals. The course,, as stated before, is from Christchurch to Akaroa via Sumner, Teddington, Purau, Port Levy, Pigeon Bay to Summit Road, thenee to Duvauchelles and Akaroa, returning to Christchurch via Tai Taplt. The first machines should arrive back atthe. garage in Worcester Street at about 5 p.m. .
