NEW YORK, May 23. • Mr Mellen, continuing his evidence before the Inter-State Commerce Commission, which is enquiring into the New York-New. Haven Railway Company's affairs, asserted that the late Mr J.; ,P. Morgan knew everything about the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway Company's affairs, including M!r Mellen's indictment for violating, the Sherman Anti-Trust Law. Mr Mellen said he agreed to, take the indictment, which really ought to have been brought against Mr Morgan, but he feared that the indictment might kill Mr Morgan, owing to his age and state of health. Despite this, Mr Morgan, jun., strove to remove Mr Mellen from the presidency of the company.
