ST. PATRICK'S DAY.
Green sprigs ajicl ribbons are in evidence in many lapels to-day in honour of St. Patrick's Day. Flags are flying _ on the principal buildings, and the banks, insurance, and Government offices are closed. To-night an Irish entertainment will be given in the Theatre Royal, when an attractive programme will be submitted. WELLINGTON CELEBRATIONS. I Press Association.
