RANGIORA HIGH SCHOOL BOARD

m A special meeting of the High School Board, Eangiora, was held last evening. Present: Messrs E. Ball (in tho chair), E. R. Good, Bell, Collie, Boyd, C. I. Jennings, and Cresswell. Tenders for the improvement of the principal's house ,were considered, Taylor Bros.' tender of £2O IG/6 being accepted. Applications were received from. Miss M. C. Reynolds, M.A., Glentunnel, Mrs E. Duff, 8.A., Miss E. G. Pegg, M.A., Christchurc'h, and Miss Elsie Vicery, B.'A.j" Invercargill, for the position of assistant. All the applicants were highly qualified. Mr Good moved that Miss M. C. Reynolds, M.A., of Glentunnel, be appointed.—Carried.
