JOURNALIST EXPELLED FROM TURKEY. V By Cable. — Press Association.—Copyright. (Received February 9, 8.55 a.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE, February 8. The poliee, without consulting the Austro-Hungarian Consulate, expelled Herr Kienast, the correspondent of the "Neue Freie Presse," for sending certain telegrams, but when the steamer arrived at Smyrna, Herr Kienast was liberated owing to a strong Austrian protest. Herr Kienast will return to Constantinople, but the incident has created a bad impression in view of the Porte's recent assurances that it would prevent .police infraction of treaties.
