Received 3rd, 1.3 a.m. The French mail steamer will not sail from Marseilles for Australia on Wednesday, owing to the strike, and the agent states that all the < ompany's steamers will be delayed while the strike continues. DEG'EiNERATE. William Peel, grandson, of the late Sir Robert Peel, has been sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment for obtaining money by false pretences.
