TREATMENT OF PRISONERS.
LONDON, March 16. A White Paper gires correspondence between the British Government and the American Ambassador respecting the treatment of German prisoners m Britain. '
It states that naval and military officers are given half-pay of the corresponding ranks m the British infantry, and if the Government learns that the British officers m Germany are receiving the full pay of the corresponding Tanks m the German army, Britain is prepared to do the same for German prisoners.
