NEW ZEALAND EMPIRE ARMY.
The London Daaly Mail of March 15 states : — ' Considerable progress has been made (Keuters Agency learns) m the negotiations between New Zealand and the Imperial Government m connection with plans for the organisation of a volunteer land expeditionary force for service m any part of the Empire. The New Zealand Government wishes to arrange matters so that wihen the men volunteer the whole organisation shall be complete and ready for service. From 7000 to BCOO men, it is believed, would volunteer. They will all have undergone training, m the territorial force under the New Zealand national service •scheme.
