ALEXANDRA SOUTH, May 12.

The weather is very fine, and the glass high. The river is falling very slowly, and is cow at the 10ft Gin mark.

. The dredge Moa (Clyd-a Company) is working steadily at the bottom of Frenchman's Beach.

The Alexandra Lead, dredge is repairing. The Morning Star party are making alterations to the dredge, which is undergoing _ a general overhaul.

Fink and party are putting the pontoons to pieces. They expected to be able to float the pontoons up to the new claim in a fresh, but there were too many small channels to enable this to bo done on the last rise. The dredges down the gorge are all idle. The Oirlg dredge is working well, and got 15oz for the week.
