The total quantity of wheat pnd flour afloat for Great Britain is 2,665,000 quarters, and for the Continent 1,540,000. Stocks and shares are unchanged. Copper. Spot, £65 100, three months, £63 7s
Tin : Spot, £118 os ; three months, £111. Lead, £11 ss. Tallow. — At the weekly sales 533 calcs were offered, and 169 sold. Prices for all sorts advanced 3d. November 29. The Bank of England returns show that the reserve is £23,860,000, and the stock of gold coin and bullion £153,04-5,000. The proportion of reserve to liabilities is 46.91. The notes in circulation total £29,285,000; public deposits, £10,371,000; other deposits, £40,298,000 ; Governmenit' securities, £17,525,000; .and. other securities, £27,215,000. Consols are quoted at £91 12s 6d. Three months' bills are discounted at 3|d per cent. Frozen Meat.— Canterbury mutton, 3kl ; Dunedin and Southland, 3Jd; Xoith Island, 2|d; Canterbury lambs, 4 5-16 d; fair average, unchanged ; beef, unchanged. These prices are the official quotations furnished by the Frozen Meat Trade Association. The basi<3 of quotations is the sale of not less than 100 cm-cases of mutton or lamb, or 25 quarters of beef. AU quotations for mutton are for fair average quality. The quotations for Xcw Zealand lamb do not include sales of small lambs or heavies of inferior quality.
All hides are withdrawn from sale in expectation of an advance. I\Tew Zealand basils, Is. Hemp is quiet. Good to fair Auckland October and December shipment, £33. Two South Australian wheat cargoes of 10,000 quarters in a Victorian sailer lor December and January sold at 29s 3d. Copper: Spot, £59 2s 6d; three months, £57 2s. Tin: Three months, £106. Siivei, 2s lid per ounce.
