GRAIN AND PRODUCE REPORT.
Messrs William E. Reynolds, Bond street, report for the week ending 25th inst. as follows :—
Wheat. — We advised a large sale having been made last week, and since then the mai-ket hag distinctly eased, imd it is difficult to stll prime velvet at anything over 5s Id and Tuscan 5s ; red sorts, up to 4s lOd ; fowl feed, up to 4s. We think prices are likely to keep at ihis.
Oats.^-The market remains in much the, same position as when we last repoitad, and we repeat quotations, which are — Pr.ime-Sutlierlands, up to 2s 7d ; seed lints (especially Tartars) up to 2s Bd_; prhae spairowbUJs, 2a 51 ; good sound, 2s 4d.to 2s 4]d; Ordinary, 2s 2J.
Barley is also piact'ically .unaltered, with prime Lakes, 5s 3d ; other districts, is 9d to ss' ; good medium, 4a 3d to 4s 7d'. ' ,
Chaff has sast'd during the week, and top prica to-Uay ia £3 17s 6d'for extra prims; other sorts, £3 to £3 12s 6d, according to quality. Potatoes a>-e..also sliffhtly ettier, and we can cfuote same up to dCb"2s t!d for prime; other descriptions, £5 12s 6d to £5 i7s 6d.
