Rkefton, November 6. Saturday's Midday Quotations.— Alpine Extended, 10s 6d to lls ; Big River, 12s to 13s ; Bullcr dredge, In to 4s 6d ; Cumberland, 3s 6i to 4s ; Dillon Extended. 6d to 9d ; Exchange, Is 6d to Is 9d ; Goldeu Lead, . Is to Is 3d ; Hercules, 9 1 to Is; Keep-it-Dark, 22-s to Zh; No. 2 South Dark, 6d to 9d ; Lord Edward, 9d to Is ; Success, Sd, to lOd ; Welcome (paid up), 5a to 5s 6d ; Boatmans Exploration, 6d to 9d. Owing to limit of business the above quotations are nominal. There are no returns to hand for the week. The returns from the Koep-it-Dark for last month was 251 oz amalgam from 362 tons of stone, retorted gold 750z.
The manager of the Dillon reports :— 'The contractors for the extension of the low level continue to wake fair progress carrying a well-defined reef track in likely slate and sandstone formation. The face shows a goldbearing leader of dark highly-mineralised stone."
