ENGAGED. 3 Plousrhmen, at 20s per week and found, and 1 Ploughman, at 22d 6d per week ; 2 Milkera (youths), at 10s and 15s per week. APPLICATIONS BY EMPLOYERS. 3 Married Ploughman, 6 Single Ploughmen, 1 Shepherd. REGISTERED FOR HIRE. 4 Labourers, 2 Married Couples for farms, 1 Handy Man at low wages, say 4s or 5s per day. CURRENT RATE 3OF WAGES. Ploughmen. £52 per annum ; Shepherds, £52 to £55 ; Farm Servants, from 16s to 20s per weelc ; Beys for milking, from 12s to 15s ; Femalo Servants, 10s to 153 per week; General Labourers, 6s to 8s per day ; Wharf Labourers, Is per hour. The demand for labour this week is good. Ploughmen are still in demand. General labourers for garden work, &c, can be supplied at reasonable wages. Female servants are still wanted. The ship Forfarshire has arrived from Glasgow. The female servants were engaged both for town and country at fair wages. There are four servants still to engage. Country employers can be supplied on short notice. Labour-forms, which go free by post, can be obtained at all tho country Post-oflices. COLIN ALLAN, smy Immigration-officer.
