Mr J. JB". Watson reports for the week ending Bih October : —
Business during the week has been rather flit.
Reef ton.— The Keep-it-Dark Company amalgam gave 2170z for the week. from the above mine may be expecttd regular monthly dividends, as the lode is nine feet thick in the present level, and is sufficiently opened to show stone that will last for several years Tho magnificent water-power machinery, erected at a cosit of over £10,000, and the careful and economical management will allow dividends of any yield over Sdwts to the ton. In the other West Coast mines nothing new to report. The Cromwell Company's mine is turning out well, and may be reckoned a valuable property for years to come: Dividend payable this day, Is 6d per share.
Maeetown.— Latest report states tbe Tipperary Company are crushing good stone. The other companieb are now at work, and this seaßon we should have a largo yield of gold. Keep-it Dark, 18s to 18s 6d ; Welcome, 353 ; Wealth of Nations, 21s ; Cromwell, 40s ; Tipperary, £13 ; North Tipixrary, £20.
