Chbistchubch, Nov. 15. To-day there was a fair entry of stock. Beef sold somewhat irregularly, and was not quite so firm as a fortnight ago ; fat lambs were lower m prioe, and fat sheep sold well m the earlier part of the sale, but afterwards became easier.

Store Sheep— 3oo sheep offered, m small lots, hoggets making 16s 3d to 19b 3d; ewea and lambs, lis to 12s 6d ; shorn wethers, 16s &a'j Fat Lambs— 2so entered, mostly of fair quality. Best, made 18s to 20s 6d ; medium 15s to 17s 6d ; 'lighter, 12b to 14s 6d. Fat Sheep— A fairly large entry, the bulk being shorn, and included some very good pens. The sale opened at about late rates, but when butchers, who were the only buyers, had filled their requirements prioes declined. Shorn wethers 15s fid to 21s 6d ; show sheep 23s to 245 ; wethers m the wool, 23s 6d to 289 9d ; ewes m the wool, 23s 6d to 28s 9d ; shorn do, 14s to 21s ; others ia the wool, 21s 9d to 24s 3d.

Fat Cattle— 2l6 head yarded. Two prise bnllooks from Bldwill, Wairarapa, mado Ll7 5s and I*l6 5s a first prize cow Ll2. Steers made L67bBd to Ll2 17s 6d ; heifers L 5 fis toL9 ss; cows, L 5 to L 7 12s fid— equal to 22s to 27b 6d per 1001 b. Btore Cattle — A large mixed entry, young sorts being mostly m low condition. The demand was slack. Yearlings brought 14s 6d; 15 to 18 months, 27s 6d to 30s ; 2-yr steero, 57s 6d to 69b; do heifers, 55s to 61s; Byr steers L 4 10s to L 4 15s ; do heifers, LB l7s 6d dry cows, 30s to 70s ; dairy cows, L 7 downwards.

Piga— -A good entry. Baooners made 38s to" 43s and np to 52s for heavy-weights — equal to.3£d to3|d per lb; porkers, 28s to 84s;

and lighter, 21s to 27s— equal to 4Jd to 5d per lb; large Btores, 22s to 28s; medium, 18s to 21s ; slips 12s to 16s : weaners. 7s to 9s 6d.
