Otautau Hack Races.
The annual meeting of members was held m Kelly's Hotel on Friday evening, at which a fair number was present. The balance sheet submitted showed a profit of £7 on last year's race meeting. The following gentlemen were elected a committee for the ensuing year:— Messrs W. Walker (Bayswater) president ; N. Kelly, John Swap, and G. Walton, vice-presi- >. dents ; Starter. W. Walker ; Clerk of course, M. Mclvor ; Clerk of scales A, Cowie; Stewards, Messrs Swap, Walker, Sweetman, Kelly, apd Walto'n; Secretary and treasurer, M. Gonley. A subcommittee was appointed to draw up a programme for next gathering. ■'.:"
