The Seddon Voucher Case.
The report of the Auditor General as to a certain alleged payment to Captain Seddon is expected to be brought down to-day (Tuesday). The denials of the Treasury and Captain Seddon that any such payment has been made were taken during the enquiry. Four witnesses were called at the instance of Mr Fisher, and they all stated that they had seen the voucher at the Christchnrch post-office. It is understood, however, that on search being made, no trace of the voucher was found, nor was any trace of the payment discovered. It is expected that the Auditor General's report will be based mainly on this latter circumstance.
