We learn that Messrs Gates and McGregor, proprietors of the Mount Linton Station, Nightcaps, are to have standing at Mount Linton Station during the coming season, the imported stallion, *' Benzoni," by Friar's Balsam, Dam Lady Victotia, latety belonging to E. Gates, Esq Benzoni's stock left m the Ashburton District are of great promise, and he proved a sure as wA\ a? a good stock-getter. Such a high-class hese should pro/c a boon to Southland breeders, and W.Ulace County is to be congratulated on the acquisition of such a fi ie stallion.
