(Received „une 17. at 5.5 p.m.) The German majority Socialists have issued an official statement adhering to the Russian Workers' Council's scheme for a peace without annexation or indemnity. They say they are opposed to the violent seizure of territories, and they claim the restoration of snatched colonies as a matter of course. They also state that the extortion of indemnities must be rejected, also the reconstruction of devastated territories. It is easy to agree to political restoration and a nation's right to decide its own independence. Belgium and Serbia should bo restored', Poland and Finland should be ;'.berated, and Ireland. Egypt, Tripoli India, etc., should be freed from foreign Oppression. Regarding Alsace and Lorraine, the Socialists assert that they belong to Germany politically and ethriographically, and their restoration to Franco must be rejected.
