A VIOLENT OSCILLATION. .Press Association—By Telegraph—CopyrigW, LISBON, April 24. (Received April 25, at 4 p.m.) "There lias been an alarming earthquake in Portugal. Tho shock was folt from Alga.ro» to Oporto. Much damage was' done, and several persons were injured. The most violent oscillation occurred at Lisbon. Burning coals from a kitchen range in a lionee in the lower part of the city started r) .fire, which the tire brigades extinguished.
