Sir Otto Has Nothing On Taranaki T.C.

(From "N.Z. Truth's" . North Island Rep.) TF Secretary Clem le Morgan ever meets Sir Otto Niemeyer, one thing they won't discuss is finance. The man at the helm of the Taranaki Trotting Club produced a laydown misere when he dealt out the financial position of the New Plymouth organisation. A profit of £208 was made last season, leaving the .club with an accumulation of the tidy sum pf £1300. The Taranaki T.C. has held only eight meetings, two of which were non-tote affairs, which makes the balance-sheet all the more pleas? ant reading.

Secretary Clem can now sit back and say: "You used to ah ha me, but now I'm going to ah ha you."
