The ballyhoo and boost given some officials is mere eyewash, and those who swallow it are certainly gullible m the extreme. Officials these days are pot m the game for the good of their health, that is, m many instances, so why all the back patting and kidding? |t has to be remembered that some of those boosted to the skies for what they have done for trotting can thank the light harness sport for whart it has done for them. Yet the way some scribblers will have it is that they have given all and get nothing. A little^ sound reasoning is wanted before throwing out an oversize m bouquets.
