PETROL SIPHONING
SPORTS CLUB LOSSES .Bowling and golf clubs in Auckland have suffered in the past few weeks from the activities of petrol thieves, although not every ease has been reported to the police. The Rcmuera Golf Club's'premises at Meadowbank were entered 011 Friday night, when a thief bryke in and siphoned 10 gallons ol Petrol from the tanks of tractors used A v the club. Some private owners of 'notor-cars have also complained of the loss of petrol'while their machines were Parked in the citv.
