CONCERT AT HOPUHOPU
AUDIENCE OF 2500 Aij excellent concert organised by the entertainment committee of the Ngaruawahia branch of the Red Cross Society was given in the Y.M.C.A. tent at JHopuhopu camp to an audience of about 2000 soldiers. The programme comprised vocal and instrumental items, tap and national dances. Ventriloquism and community singing. Supper was provided by the ladies of the Red Cross Society, assisted by the general secretary of the Y.M.C.A., Mr. Lcdgerwood. The latter expressed the thanks of the camp commandant, Major H. D. McHugh, for the entertainment.
