SNOOKER EXHIBITION
LINDRUM'S BREAK OF 92 Horace Limlruni, the Australian snooker champion, made Ins farewell appearance in Auckland last evening, when lie played a series of billiards and snooker matches in the Dominion Billiards Parlours, Symonds Street, before a large a I tendance. Opposed by R. Carrick, the New Zealand amateur billiards champion, Lindruni gave a brilliant exhibition of all-round play, his highest break being: 3.31, and there were others of over .100. Carrick's best break was ■)•!. In games of snooker Lindrum conceded six blacks to R. Carrick, G. Wilkinson, S. Howes and C. Cummins, winning them all. In the latter contest he made a splendid break of O'J, missing the century owing io I lie last two reds lying awkwardly. Ho was accorded an ovation. . The Australian concluded with an exhibition of fancy shots. He leaves on a southern tour to-day.
AUCKLAND CHAMPIONSHIP The Auckland provincial amateur snooker championship will be continued to-nicht at 7.15, when W. Whyle will play C. Fletcher and at 8.30 L. F. Holtlsworlh, the titleholder, will meet J. Molloy.
