SCHOOL BOXING
TECHNICAL COLLEGE EVENTS PRELIMINARIES DECIDED The second day of the preliminary contests of the Seddon [Memorial Technical College's annual boxing championships was held at the school hall yesterday. The semi-finals and finals ■were reached in all divisions. The tournament will conclude on Thursday evening, when the final bouts will beheld. Following were the results: Flea-weight, ssl 71b and under. —Young heal Miller, on points. Midget-weight, (>st 7lh and under.—Lester beat Kelsall, on points; McGregor beat Lousick. by default; McGregor baet O'Meara, on points: Donaldson beat Lester, on points. Fly-weight, 7st and under. McGregor beat Moran, on points; McConnell beat Rainey. on points. Paper-weight. 7st 71b and under.—Morton heat C'arr, on points; Sutton beat Bell, on points. Bantam-weight. Sst and under. —Wong heat Parker, on points; Phillips beat Brighton, on points. Feather-weight. Sst 71b and under.— IK,-ilka heat Nelson, on points; Urghart beat Donald, on points; Maudsley beat Kalka, on points: Urghart beat Sumicii, on points. Welter-weight, fist 71b and under.—R. O'Meara beat Birnie: Lambert beat I'. O'Meara, on points; Prenter beat McGregor, on points.
