"CHARLEY'S AUNT"
SEASON IN AUCKLAND One of the most popular of all stage farces, "Charley's Aunt." will be presented in His Majesty's Theatre by the Celebrity Comedy Company for a season commencing on Friday. The brilliant cnM is headed by the popular J. C. Williamson litrht comedian Don Nicol, who toured New Zealand recently in the "Balalaika" and "White llorso Inn" companies. Opposite him is the well-known film actress Shirley Ann Richards, who has been seen recently in the Cinesoiind productions "Lovers •and Luggers" and ".Dad and Dave Come to Town." Three members of the company which presented "The Women" in the Dominion some months ago, AI then, Siddons, Leal Douglas and Mary Duncan, also are in the east. Norman Bnrrington, a London actor who lias appeared with such famous stage personalities ns Dame Sybil Thorndike and Sir Seymour Hicks, will also take part. Booking arrangements a re, advertised.
