7" INTER-CLUB EVENTS RELAY RACES AT OTAHUHU Several inter-club relay races and club competitions for special trophies were staged at the Otahuhu Amateur Athletic Clubs meeting at Stnrges Park under favouarble conditions. The Ellerslie and Auckland clubs tied for tie honours in the ladies' relay race for the Lovelock Cup with Mount Albe,rt mnners-up. In the senior relay forr the Sturges Park Cup the placings were Old Grammarians. Otahuhu and Lynndale in that order. The junior challenge relay cup was won by Ellerslie, with Technical and Old Grammarians second and third. The racing was of a high standard and the finishes in many of the events were very close.
