NATIVE TREES
CENTENNIAL MEMORIALS RUAWAI, SCHOOL NURSERY [by telegraph^—own correspondent] DAR&AVILLE, Thursday A nursery in which to raise sellings and cuttings of native trees has been established by the headmaster of the Ruawai Consolidated School, Mr. R. J. Corbett Already hundreds of trees have been grown from seeds or cuttings in an area of land behind the school. Mr. Corbett expects to raise by 194U some 5000 seedlings and cuttings, which it is proposed will be planted out du> ing the centennial celebrations as per* manen£ memorials of the anniversary of the founding of New Zealand.
