THE MINING MARKET EASIER VALUES RULE DECLINE IN MARTHAS Trading was more active in the mining market on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday, and covered a wider range. Values, however, were mainly easier, and Marthas dropped on sale. Golden Crowns lost 8d in the first sale for over two months, but Golden Dawns were a shade firmer. Mount Morgans were weak, being marked down 8d in transfers as low as 9s 2d. Closing quotations were: —
