PEACE ON OILFIELDS
TRINIDAD STRIKE ENDS SLIGHT WAGE INCREASES CHARGES OF MURDER (Received July 0, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK. July 5 A message from Port of Spain, Trinidad, states that the strike on the oilfields, which began on June 21, has endPd. Murder charges have been brought against 13 strikers for killing two policemen. Slight wage increases have been granted and the Governor has promised to investigate the oil workers' grievances.
