HOSPITAL ON NORTH SHORE
Sir _D a ily one is hearing opinions pro and con re the proposed hospital extension schemes. What about the building of a relief hospital on the North Shore? If built, this North Shore hospital would so greatly relieve the present overcrowded conditions in the ~nd Hospital that the proposed modified expenditure would provide ample accommodation for many years to come. A hospital at the North Shore is a really urgent requirement and will have to come in the near future. Moreover the hoard possesses ample grounds there, not only for building requirements, but also to provide all vegetables, milk, etc., required. A census of those from the North Shore treated in our Auckland Hospital would convince the most sceptical of the urgency for such a relief hospital. \> ill the members of the Hospital Board re-open this question and win the lasting gratitude of many sufferers on this side ot the Waiteniata? '* One of Many.
