ORAKEI MAORIS
Sir, —T would just like to say what a cruel injustice is their lot. They are a very fine type, law abiding, and clean under their present conditions, so why not spend the money it would take for a recreation ground, on their present area? Why not before it is too late help them with the much-needed sanitation; also to erect typical Maori houses? It could be made one of Auckland's most interesting sites. Perhaps in less than 100 years we will be doing our utmost to preserve a fast dying race. Justice.
