CENTRAL WINS DART SHIELD Tho Dart Shield for the inter-club badminton championship wus won by the Central Club, which defealed Parnell in the final by seven matches to five. This was the first defeat suilered by Parnell since the trophy was preseuted for competition five years ago. - Following are tho results, the names of Central players being given first iu each case:—Men's doubles: Neale and Hull beat Anderson and ltowllinga, 21-—11; Wilson and Weir lost to Marten and Southon. 17—21; Nealo and' Hull beat Marten and Southon, 21—14; WiUon and Weir beat Anderson and llo.vllings, 21—10, Ladies' doublos: Misses Wade and Ramsay beat Missea M. and K. Waters, 21—9; Mia s « B Campbell and Gardner lost to Miss Inwood and Mrs Wren, 10—21; Misses Wado and Ramsay beat Miss Inwood and Mrs. Wren, 21—b; Misses Campbell and Gardner lost to Misses M. and K. Waters, 1)—21. Combined doubles; Weir and Miss Campbell lost to Marten and Miss M. Waters, 15— 21; Hull and Mißs Ramsay beat Southon and Misß K. Waters, 21—13; Wilson and Miss Wiule lost to Anderson and Mrs. Wren, 17—21: 'Nettle and Miss Gardner beat Rowllings and Alias Inwood, 21—13.
