Many people eager to enjoy tho pleasuro and convenience of modern motoring who ha\o nevertheless been timorous about making the necessary outlay in a, time of economic stringency aro realising that they should wait no longer. The improvement iu conditions that has taken placo in tho past 12 months is reflected in an advance of overl7,ooo in tho registration of motor-\ ehicles iu tho past year. Private cars showed an increase of more than Id,ooo and light and heavy trucks also advanced appreciably. But apart from tho brighter outlook, factors which have assisted the revival are undoubtedly the splendid efficiency of the modern motor-car, with its simplified control and many " foolproof " devices, and also tho fact that as a means of transport the motorcar has become more a necessity than ever.
