FORTUNATE BABY
SON OF "WOOLWORTH" HEIRESS The " luckiest baby " in England, two-months-old Richard Anthony Gasque Robinson, is already a successful financier —by proxy. Richard is the son of Mr. *J. Roland Robinson, M.P. His mother, before her marriage, was iss Maysie Gasque, the " Wool worth" heiress. Tales have been told and pictures made of the fabulous fairy-tale nursery in which young Richard spends his nights and rainy days. His christening was on June 7. in the crypt of the House of Commons. Recently, in the great Robinson house of Hampstead, his mother talked about her mucli-discussed little son. " He is wealthy all in his own right,'' sho said. " When he was born, his father took out five life insurance
policies in his name. Then his two grandmothers and an aunt started banking accounts for him. " Not content with that, his father bought sonio shares in his name, held them until they rose in value, and sold them again. The proceeds were banked for him. I can't tell you what all these add up to —I've never been ablo to figure it out for myself." Christening presents " flowed " in to the house for young Master Richard. He has an abundance of silver christening mugs and spoons. Mrs. Robinson displayed a set from a relative, with mug, porringer, spoon, knife and fork all made of solid gold. " But I am not going to let him be spoiled," says his mother. "He will be brought up on sensible lines."
