HOSPITAL CONCERT
Members of Neville Carlsen's Revue Company, together with the New Carlton Cabaret Dance Band, entertained patients in "Ward 1 at the Public Hospital on Monday evening. A bright and varied programme of songs, dances and humour, also selections by the dance band, Ernest Parkinson's string band and the troupe's orchestra, met with generous applause from the exceptionally large audience. Concerted items were also enjoyed. The following contributed to the programme:—Misses Joan Power, Joy Young, Joan Parkinson, Miri and Betty 'Ball, Gracie Rae, Gloria, Shirley and Betty Lelean, Mavis Reilly, Messrs. George Davies, led Stack, Tom Burnitt, Edgar Bendal , George Carlsen, Arthur Larkins, Dick Saxon, Sel Notten, Will Skelton, Ernest and Albert Parkinson, T. King, H. Walters, Tom Deane, Scott Bone., Bruce Pollock and Neville Carlsen. Miss Power was the accompanist.
