BRIDGE AFTERNOON.
The Takapuna branch of tho Plunket Society held a 'most successful bridge afternoon at the Pirate Ship at Milford yesterday. Tho tables were arranged on the lower deck, where afternoon tea was also served. The acting-president, Mrs. C. Black, was assisted by the secretary, Mrs. A.' M. Seaman, and the ladies of the committee in carrying out the arrangements and as a result the Plunket Fund, for which it was held, will benefit considerably. Among thoso present were:— Mrs. J. W.
