ASSAULT ON FIREMAN.
STRUCK WITH BOTTLE.

In the Supreme Court to-day James Smith, a young man, was found guilty of idoing actual bodily harm to John Lecf, a ship's fireman, on January 25, by striking him over the head with a boer bottle. j|On the major charge of assaulting Lcnf fivith intent to do grievous bodily harm licensed was found not guilty. He was Remanded until Monday for sentence.
