LARGE OVERSEAS MAILS.
THE AORANGI AND TEKOA. BUSY TIME FOR POST OFFICE. Tlio postal officials will bo kept busy to-day sorting and delivering the larg«j amount of overseas mail which reached Auckland during tho week-end. The Aorangi, which arrived from Vancouver, yesterday afternoon, brought 1700 bags of American and English mail for New Zealand. A number of bags were despatched by train to tho South last evening and tho remainder will go forward to-day. The Auckland portion consisted of 426 bags, which will be delivered in tho city and suburbs during the day. Tho Tekoa, from Liverpool, which berthed last evening, has 1200 bags of letters and parcels. As all the postal officials available were engaged in taking delivery of the mail from tho Aorangi, the Tekoa's mail will not be landed until this morning. A further batch of overseas mail will reach Auckland to-morrow. The Maungantd is due in the morning from Sydney with 236 bags of Eastern and Australian mail for Auckland.
