BOY DIES OF INJURIES.

WAIHI. Monday. A lap ramed John Kan-ell. aged 15. died in the District Hospital this evening as the result of injuries received through a shooting accident at Karangahako on Sunday. Farrell, in company with a companion named Harry Hyde, was out on the hills shooting when the gun, which was in the hitler's possession, accidentally exploded. Ihe charge entered Farrell's right thigh at close ranee, badly shattering the limb and inflicting serious injuries to the lower portion of the abdomen.

The police ra\e received adsice that Helen .lane Adie. aged five years, vas accidentally shot dead by her brother, aged 15. While the latter was shooting birds at Farnscleugh, deceased 1 a.me round the corner just, as he fired a shot.
