HAMILTON SHOP ENTERED.
I [by telegraph.— correspondent.] j Hamilton', Monday. Between* six o'clock on Friday evening | and eight o'clock on Saturday morning the 'clothier's shop in Grey Street, Hamilton | East, belonging to Mr. Rendell was broken into. On Saturday morning, on opening the shop. Mr. Baker, the manager, found ' that the thief had gained entrance by forcI ing a broken panel of the back door. The i till, which contained about £1 in petty I cash, had been removed to the yard, I broken open, and rifled. The police are investigating the affair.
