Vincent, and Ramsey resulted. In the play-off Baddiley beat Vincent by 5 points to 1, and then beat Ramsey by 6 points to 2, and won the section SECTION L. (At Canton.) This section was contested by Easlett (Onehunga), Hayward (Otahuhu) West (Dominion Road), A. Walker (Mount Eden), A. Parsons (Ponsonbyl, and Hart CRemuera,). The section winners will meet at Devonport green to-day, play commencing at nine o'clock. The section winners have been divided into two sections, and tho winners of these will meet at the Auckland green to-morrow afternoon. Subscription pairs on the divided progressive system were played on the local bowling green to-day, 30 players taking part. Amongst the skips H. J. Davys secured pride of plac-3 with six wins out of eixht matches, F. Fearce, T. Middloton. F. O'Toolo. V.. McFarlane, rnd J. Rivers being next, with five wins each. Among the leads A. Pearce and H. Speight tied for first place with seven wins, H. Ferguson being next with 1 six wins. The winners agreed to donate the I prize-money to the new pavilion fund.
