THE NOMADS' TOUR. J _____ WIN AGAINST EDEN. A OHS-day match was played at Eden Park yesterday between the New Zealand Nomads and an Eden eleven. The visitors won comfortably by 117 runs,' after a most exciting fight against time, as they succeeded in disposing of.the last Eden wicket one minute before time. Butterworth, the Maßterton player, played a vigorous and attractive innings of 135, which included two sixes. The majority of his runs were' scored by boundary hits. This makes Butterworth's second century this week, as he made 129 against Ponsonby on Tuesday. Shaw also p'.ayed attractive and sound cricket for his 73.

Eden, after the first wicket fell, looked like making a big score, both Brown and Smeeton batting freely. Smeeton hit up 81 by careful cricket, and later in the innings Bunch secured a merry 36. Following are the scores: — NOMADS. First Innings.
