Owing to the masters' threat of a lockout in conjunction with the dispute of the Beehive Mill employees at Bolton in September, the representative of the cardroom operatives has notified the withdrawal of the operatives from the Brooklands agreement. The spinners and weavers had previously withdrawn and the agreement has now ended.
